Final judging plan for the Palestine Innovation Hackathon

Six active teams are working toward an October final prepared around working products, relevant evidence, and a shared public framework.

The Palestine Innovation Hackathon is continuing with six selected student teams developing applications intended to benefit Palestine. The final is being prepared as an evidence-led review of working products, rather than a pitch-only event. The public framework assigns 55 of 100 points to technical implementation, the live demo, and product quality. It also asks teams to explain the value of the problem they address, their sustainability approach, relevant external learning, and their execution through the competition. The October schedule gives teams clear milestones and allows the organizing team to prepare for the final: external-validation and traction evidence is due 5 October; a first complete technical and product package is due 12 October; external evidence closes for normal scoring on 15 October; the final technical and product package is due 20 October; and the judging package is planned to freeze on 24 October. Each planned judging slot gives teams time to introduce the problem and their progress, demonstrate the live product, explain sustainability and real-world validation, and answer questions. Final judging in Aqaba is currently planned for around 27 October 2026. The exact date, time, venue, and related logistics remain subject to organizer confirmation.
